Bonus from Velliv Foreningen
As a customer of Velliv, you are automatically a member of Velliv Foreningen (the Velliv Association), which owns Velliv. One of the association’s goals is to distribute its surplus as cash bonuses to members and to projects that promote the mental health of Danes.
This year, Velliv Foreningen has decided to distribute DKK 412 million in bonuses to its members – that is, Velliv’s customers. This corresponds to approximately DKK 1,520 per saved million or about 0.15 per cent of the total savings as of 31 December 2024. Customers with small savings or pure insurance schemes will receive a base bonus of DKK 150.
At the beginning of May, you will receive a notification in your e-Boks about the excact bonus amount that you’ll receive during week 21.
The table below shows the bonuses given by Velliv Foreningen since 2018, which was the first year the association distributed bonuses. Overall, customers have received approximately DKK 12,200 in bonuses per million saved since 2018 – or an average of about DKK 1,500 per year.

Basis for bonus calculation
Each year, the Board of Representatives of Velliv Foreningen decide whether there is a basis for paying out bonus. 2018 was the first year, the association paid out bonus. You can see the bonus history since 2018 here. A bonus payment from Velliv Foreningen is a cash payout to you and your employees, and it will be deposited on NemKonto accounts free of additional charges.
