Bonus in Velliv

As a customer in Velliv, you are automatically a member of Velliv Foreningen, the owner of Velliv. The association has set as one of its key objectives to distribute profits as a cash bonus to its members and to projects strengthening the mental health of Danes.

This year, Velliv Foreningen has decided to pay out DKK 400 million as a bonus to members – i.e., the customers in Velliv. This corresponds to DKK 1,638 per DKK million in savings or approx. 0.16 per cent of the total savings as of 31 December 2023. Customers with small savings funds or pure insurance schemes will receive a base bonus of DKK 150.

”Our unique value offer, where our customers through membership of Velliv Foreningen are also owners of Velliv, means that all Velliv’s customers get a cash payout – both when saving up and when retired. It is an added bonus of being a customer in Velliv,” says CEO of Velliv Kim Kehlet Johansen.

At the beginning of May, you were notified in e-Boks about the size of the bonus you will receive. The bonus was payed out around 22 May 2024.

In the table below, you can see what Velliv Foreningen has paid in bonus since 2018, which was the first year the association paid bonus. In total, customers have received DKK 10,638 in bonus for each DKK million i savings since 2018 or on average DKK 1,527 a year.

Basis for bonus calculation
Each year, the Board of Representatives of Velliv Foreningen decide whether there is a basis for paying out bonus. 2018 was the first year, the association paid out bonus. You can see the bonus history since 2018 here. A bonus payment from Velliv Foreningen is a cash payout to you and your employees, and it will be deposited on NemKonto accounts free of additional charges.
