What will happen to my pension scheme if I change jobs?
When you start a new job or, for example, become self-employed, you'll need to decide what should happen with your pension scheme. This typically depends on whether your new employer offers a company pension scheme, and if so, whether it meets your needs. You're always welcome to call us on +45 70 33 99 99 , and we'll help you find the solution that suits you best - whether it's you or your new employer who will be making the payments, or if you become self-employed.
If you wish to continue your pension scheme with us, it’s important that you let us know what should happen before contributions from your previous employer stop. Your pension scheme usually includes insurance cover in case of illness and death, so it may be important for you to keep these covers. You’ll remain fully covered for the first three months after your employment ends, except for your health insurance, which ends on your last working day with your previous employer.
